And, in making those extracting our God given natural resources accountable and their operations beneficial to the masses the support of the media and the civil society is essential,” he explained.

Otunba Onayiga, who is also the Chairman of the Communications Committee of NEITI, expressed confidence that the Abuja workshop would deepen the knowledge of the participants on remedial issues.

Penpushing gathered that the program is also expected to provide a platform for the civil society and the media to develop an action plan to address the issues.
