MY DREAM IS TO IMPACT POSITIVELY ON THE SOCIETY, SAYS ADEJOKE OYELEKE AS SHE CLOCKS 50

 “At 50, my dream is to impact positively on the society and alleviate the suffering of the masses, I have a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) called “Speak Out”, where people are gathered every Wednesday online to discuss about issues bordering on women, this and some other things are what i have been doing voluntarily to help the less privileged and those who are in need of help’.

The celebrator who is also the Chief Welfare of the National Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas (NUPENG), pointed out that the moment she will never forget was when she was looking for the fruit of the womb for almost 12years, saying that the period was a troublesome and agony period which she never pray for even her enemy to experience.

Penpushing further reports that, while answering question on what unionism has been for her, Oyeleke said that she was fulfilling the wish of God for her life, saying that despite been a woman, God made unionism an easy task for her for more than two decade that she has been in it.

The thanks giving service for the 50th birthday celebration was held at All Souls Anglican Church, Bodija, Ibadan, before guest thereafter moved to Lechateau Event Center for the birthday reception. The celebrator was born in Ibadan to  the family of Mr and Mrs Oyeleke in Lagos State.

Penpushing also reports that, she began her Nursery education at Bright Star Nursery School, Aiyepe avenue Somolu area of Lagos State in 1974-1975 and moved to SS  Peter and Paul Primary School , Somolu, Lagos in 1975-1981where she had her Primary School Leaving Certificate.

The celebrator between 1981-1987 attended CMS Grammar School 4,(Bishop Howells’ Memorial Grammar School) Bariga, Lagos and wrote her  West Africa Examination Council(WAEC) examination  at Iroko Community Grammar School, Iroko, Oyo State in 1988

Penpushing reports that, she later went to St Andrews College of Education Oyo between 1989- 1992 and had her National Certificate of Education(NCE) in Political Science/ Statistics, in her academic pursuit, Adejoke had her Bsc in Peace Studies and Conflicts Resolutions at National Open University Nigeria (NOUN) Ibadan Center.
