
Moshood Abiola Polytechnic to hold 15th combined convocation ceremony on June 24
The authorities of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), Abeokuta, have announced the institution’s 15th Combined Convocation Ceremony scheduled to hold on Tuesday, June 24, 2025.
Penpushing reports that a statement by the Head, Public Relations and Protocol, Yemi Ajibola said the ceremony will feature the award of National and Higher National Diplomas to deserving students who graduated between the 2015/2016 and 2023/2024 academic sessions.
The statement added that the convocation Lecture, titled ‘Diaspora Perspective and the Influence of STEM in the Globalized World of Today’ will be delivered by Hon. (Dr.) Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), at the Otunba Gbenga Daniel (OGD) Auditorium of the Polytechnic by 11:00 am. prompt.
Penpushing further reports that Ajibola stated that other events lined up to commemorate the ceremony include the Presentation of Prizes to Outstanding Students, Conferment of Fellowship Honours and Awards to Notable Personalities, Exhibitions, Distinguished Alumni Award Night, a Special Jum’at Service, and a Thanksgiving Service.
The statement said Ogun State Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun, as moderator of the Polytechnic, will grace the occasion as the Special Guest of Honour, while the Rector, Dr ‘Koye Jolaoso will welcome dignitaries on behalf of the Governing Council as the Chief Host.
