MASKED OPERATIVES WHISK DINO MELAYE FROM HOSPITAL BED

It is recalled that, Melaye had hidden himself in his house in Maitama,Abuja   to avoid police arrest over alleged murder attempt of a policeman on July 19,2018 and multiple robbery. The comical Melaye, finally surrender himself to the police after eight days

The police said  Dino Melaye and his armed thugs in Kogi State on the 19th July, 2018  shot and wounded a police officer, Sgt Danjuma Saliu, attached to 37 Police Mobile Force (PMF) while on duty at a stop and search point along Aiyetoro Gbede, Mopa Road in Kogi State.

Penpushing further reports that, the authorities said in a statement that the Police Officer was yet to recover from the gunshot injury he sustained during the attack and still under intensive medical care, as at the time they wanted to arrest the Senator.

The federal lawmaker while coming out of the house, slumped to the floor and was later assisted onto his feet, and was thereafter taken to the office of the Inspector General of Police  Intelligence Response Squad (IRT) in Guzape, Abuja.

Penpushing recalled  that, the Force Public Relations Officer, Jimoh Moshood  in reacting to the surrender in a statement  affirmed that  Melaye “is currently in police custody for investigation, and subsequently, taken to police hospital, Abuja for medical attention and he is in stable condition’, adding that he would be charge to court “on completion of investigation.”
