BOBAGUNWA EGBA, BODE MUSTAPHA MOURNS AJANAKU

 “I received the news of the demise of this great woman with rude shock. She was a woman of many parts; who fought the cause of women as an activist, a great philanthropist and a politician of high repute’, Mustapha lamented.

The statement recalled that, the late Ajanaku was the Chairman, old Abeokuta Local Government Council, as well as the nation, at the Federal Executive Council, a position she held with genuine passion and contributed immensely.

‘She no more and it is glaring that we will miss her, particularly now that all hands are needed to build our future together. However, it is noteworthy that she lived a meaningful life and, a life of service to God and humanity”.

The Egba High Chief emphasized that, the death of Ajanaku, who was a one-time Special Advise on Women Affairs to former President Olusegun Obasanjo , has created a vacuum which would be difficult to fill, while her service and wise counseling  would be missed.

Penpushing further reports that, Bobagunwa in the statement prayed that God will grant her (Ajanaku) soul eternal rest and the family, the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss,
