Man beheads 4 year old nephew in Anambra State

Anambra State Police Command has arrested a twenty year old man, Uchechi Eze, of Ezza Local Government Area of Ebonyi state over alleged killing of his nephew at Obosi, Idemili South Local Government Area.

Penpushing reports that in a release by the Anambra State Police Public Relations Officer S.P Mohammed Haruna said the suspect, who resides at Ugamma village Obosi, used axe and allegedly beheaded his four year old nephew, Chiemere Ezekiel .

The Command spokesman  said that police operatives attached to Obosi Division visited the scene and took the victim to Unity hospital Obosi where he was confirmed dead by a Medical Doctor and his corpse deposited at Saint Edward mortuary for autopsy.

Penpushing further reports  that following intelligence report, Police detectives attached to Obosi division in conjunction with Vigilante group in the area arrested the culprit at a criminal hideout, smoking substance suspected to be cannabis Sativa.

The police image maker said the  suspect voluntarily confessed to the crime and the exhibit he used in perpetrating the dastardly act was also recovered in his possession.

Penpushing also reports that, the Commissioner of Police John  Abang, has directed that the case be transferred to the Criminal investigation Department(CID) for discreet investigation after which suspect would be charged to Court for prosecution
