Ladi Adebutu is not destined to become governor, says peoples democratic party chairman

The Chairman of Ogun State Chapter of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Sikirulai Ogundele has declared that the party Governorship Candidate Hon Ladi Adebutu is not destiny to become Governor of the state.

Penpushing reports that Ogundele stated this while addressing supporters during a meeting held at the party’s secretariat in Abeokuta, ahead of the party congress, stressing that the misconduct of Adebutu was a pointed to the fact.

The party boss added that from observations about the conduct of the governorship candidate of the opposition party, there seems to be that he is on curse which is working against him becoming a governor of the over forty years state

‘I am saying it with all confidence that Ladi Adebutu himself does not want to become a governor or maybe he was not destined to be one. Is like there is a curse on him that is working against his becoming a governor. But as for me, I will never be unfortunate’, Ogundele emphasised.

Penpushing further reports that the chairman stressed that highhandedness of Adebutu led to the failure of the party to be successful at the last poll, recalling that having been losing governorship election since 2019 was a relevant factor that he is not destined to rule

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is equally known to be stubborn and was also very clear that he has no genuine love of the party at heart and he doesn’t want us to win the election.in view of his behaviour even to the general public

Penpushing  also reports that it is recalled that Adebutu in reaction to statement credited to the party chairman said it was nothing but a foul cry from a man after his gains, adding that he was not disturbed by Ogundele’s allegations and would not join issues with him.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governorship Candidate through his media aide Afolabi Orekoya, declared that Ogundele was on his own, adding that for such coming from him showed that there was more to it

‘The chairman is just on his own. Out of 57 state executive council members, if it is only the chairman who is saying that, then you know that there is more to it. We are not joining issues with him, he is the only one on that journey, he was the only state executive member that was at the meeting out of 57. That is to tell you that it is more of his thinking’, Adebutu stated.

‘Was it Adebutu that went to disrupt or cause violence at Sagamu where elections were destroyed? Was it Adebutu who gave the judgments at the courts? He (Ogundele) is crying foul because of his gain and enterprise, we are not perturbed, and we are not surprised’, he added
