Penpushing member, Muyiwa Adejobi becomes Nigeria Police Force spokesman

A member of Penpushing platform, Muyiwa Adejobi has been appointed as the Acting Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Police Force, with headquarters at the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.

Penpushing reports that, elevation of Adejobi was made known in a statement issued on Saturday, which was signed by Benjamin Hundeyin, Administrative Officer in the Force Public Relations Department of the Force Headquarters

The statement added that, Adejobi , a Chief Superintendent Officer takes over from the immediate past Force Public Relations Officer, Frank Mba, following his nomination by the Inspector-General of Police for the Senior Executive Course at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru, Jos.

Penpushing further reports that, in view of this development, Mba has handed over the duties and responsibilities of the Force Public Relations Department to Adejobi, who until his elevation was his Deputy.

The statement emphasized that, the elevation of Adejobi, an alumnus of the University of Ibadan where he studied Archeology and Geography (Combined Honours) is to take immediate effect and expected to resume duty without any delay.

Penpushing also reports that, Adejobi  holds a Master’s Degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from the same University, was the Police Public Relations Officer  in the Ogun State Command from 2008 – 2016;  Police Public Relations Officer, Zone 2 Headquarters, Onikan, Lagos, in 2016 .

The super cop was Public Relations Officer of the Lagos State Police Command between September, 2020 and August, 2021, before he was transferred to the headquarters of the force in Abuja.

Penpushing reports that, Adejobi  is an experienced communicator and image manager who has achieved great strides in his previous appointments, and  is a member of several professional bodies and associations which include: Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR); International Public Relations Association (IPRA); Pointman Leadership Institute,United States of America(USA); International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), America and the Institute of Corporate Administration, Nigeria.
