Idris Katib elected, Fellow of Centre for Public Service Productivity and Development
The Centre for Public Service Productivity and Development (CeProd) has elected a member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, Ogun State Chapter, Nigeria, Mr Idris Katib as a Fellow of the Centre.
Penpushing reports that, Katib was conferred with Fellowship of CeProd, the highest professional status of Centre for Public Service Productivity and Development to be conferred on any certified member
The member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations was conferred with the honour alongside six other members after hours of rigorous workshop on productivity held at Sheraton Hotels, Lagos State.
The Director-General of CeProd, Dr Chris Egbu while presenting certificates, transcripts and plaques said the conferment was in recognition of Katib’s professional standing and demonstrated commitment in creating, maintaining, extending and promoting the highest world standards in productivity and economy growth.
“In recognition of your professional standing and demonstrated commitment in creating, maintaining, extending and promoting the highest world standards in productivity and economy growth, the board of trustees and government council of Centre for Public Service Productivity and Development elects Idris Kolawole Katib,FCP as Fellow”, he explained.
Penpushing further reports that ,in a citation, Katib was described as a multiple certified Public Relations, writer wordsmith and expert of about two decades of practice with over 100 published online professional articles and two (online) academic publications in communication, Public Relations(PR), journalism, Advertising, branding, publishing, speechwriting, book reviews, music, healthcare and allied matters.
The Director-General of CeProd explained that only sixty Fellows of CeProd had been elected through supervised and screened recommendations in the past, describing it as a rigorous Fellowship rather than an honorary Fellowship award.
Penpushing also reports that, other inducted members are Adeyemo Abioye, Edith Okechukwu, Sunday Aguora, Seye Obisesan, Kingsley Edeh and Egbute Cletus ,while a senior Fellow of the Centre and Chief Executive of Kampe Valley Mining Company, Alhaja Rashidat Ladoja motivated the new Fellows on Productivity Professional Course lectures earlier.
The guest lecturer, Dr Joshua Olusesan on the theme “Productivity Secrets of Highly Successful Professionals and Entrepreneurs–What Works in Nigeria ” urged newly inducted members to be continuously productive through efficiently managing their time and avoiding procrastination.
