I will continue impacting on poor, less privileged in society – Akintoye

The founder, Olubunmi Adeola Akintoye’s Foundation, Olubunmi Akintoye has said that she will always passionate about impacting on the poor and less privileged in the society, adding that this will go a long way in alleviating the suffering of the masses

Penpushing reports that Akintoye disclosed this on Sunday at her Felele warehouse while giving out palliatives to people as part of the efforts of her foundation to alleviate the suffering of the masses, particularly during this pandemic period

The distribution of the palliatives package saw thousands of people from various locations across the state commending the gesture of Olubunmi Adeola Akintoye Foundation towards alleviating the suffering of the masses.

Penpushing further reports that, Akintoye noted that having seen that some people are hungry as a result of the effect of the lockdown caused by the coronavirus,  that was why she decided to put smile to the face of the masses.

The founder explained that the assistance she was rendering to the people came at a time where there is covid-19 and people need food to survive, adding that there is hunger everywhere because people are really hungry particularly the less privileged ones, and however called on wealthy Nigerians to care for the people, saying that government should also come to the aid of the masses by getting in touch directly to them.

Penpushing also reports that some of the beneficiaries of the foodstuff and provisions packages, Madam Folake Adedigba and Mrs Taiwo Solaja while speaking with journalists separately commended the efforts of the foundation  towards assisting the masses, adding that other well meaning Nigerians should emulate the gesture of the organisation

“We want to thank Olubunmi Adeola Akintoye Foundation for coming to our aids particularly during this hardship time, this food stuff and provisions will go along way to cushion the effect of the lock down’.

Meanwhile, the foundation distributed food items and provisions worth millions of naira to people across Oyo State, while items distributed to people includes: rice, beans, semovita, spaghetti, indomie noodles, tea, milk, melon and pepper,
