I am proud to be associated with Penpushing Media, says Ambassador Sarafa Isola

The former Nigerian Ambassador to United Kingdom, Ambassador Sara Isola has affirmed the authenticity of Penpushing Media in journalism world, emphasizing that he is proud to be associated with the organization.

Penpushing reports that Isola made this known on Wednesday when he came to identify with the management team of the media out let at the corporate headquarters located at Leme axis of Moshood Abiola way, Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital

The Ambassador who arrived at the headquarters of the establishment at about 12pm was ushered into the office by the team led by Chairman, Editorial Board, Mrs Funke Fadugba, and was conducted round the office.

Penpushing further reports that Isola who is pioneer member of the Penpushing platform said he was impressed with the progress of the renowned media organization, owner of online newspaper and television, recorded in the last six years of operations.

‘At the Penpushing office today the 17th of July, 2024 on a courtesy visit. I am quite impressed with the professionalism in the office. The team led by Mrs Funke Fadugba warmly received me with enthusiasm’, Isola said.

‘Looking back into when Penpushing was established, I feel proud to be a foundation member of the family. The team should not rest on their oars. I wish you the best of luck in your future endeavours. Kindest regards’, he wrote

The former diplomat expressed optimism that Penpushing Media is still going places and commended the team for injecting corporate social responsibility to its operations, pointing out number of assistance and support already extended to the needy in the society are commendable

‘I want to commend the team for the good work, and also need to say this, the implementation of the corporate social responsibility of Penpushing Media is a welcome development, adding value to journalism practice. The media organization is doing well’, he stated.

Penpushing also reports that the editorial board chairman earlier in her remarks recalled the journey of the organization, adding that it was established to correct and tackle the menace of fake news which is almost becoming daily occurrence in the world, with its greater negative impact in our clime, particularly owing to myriads of online communication channels

Penpushing reports that Fadugba explained that the media outlet is in partnership with United Nations Information Centre (UNIC), a member of International Press Council (IPC) with headquarters in Switzerland and member Guild of Online Corporate Publishers (GOCOP)

The Chairman added that the establishment is member Nigeria Guild of Editors (NGE), Media Consultant for ECOWAS- Federation of Business Women and Entrepreneurs (FEBWE) and media partner with Leading Women of Africa Group, Cape Town, South Africa among others

Penpushing further reports that other members of the management team to receive the ambassador include; Dimeji Kayode-Adedeji, Eddy Aina, Sina Adefolahan and Remi Olugbenro as well Olawale Kayode-Adedeji (editorial crew member)
