CHAIRMAN BENUE STATE COUNCIL OF NIGERIA UNION OF JOURNALISTS IS DEAD
‘We receive this morning the news of the sudden death of our personal friend and brother, the Chairman of the Benue State Council of our great union, Mr David Ukuma. David Ukuma, a vibrant young man with passion to turn around the fortune of our great union has gone to meet with the Lord. Dav, as we used to call you while you were here with us, we never planned it this way’, Atunbi lamented.
The statement further added that, ’we in the Transformation Agenda mourn the demise of this great leader of leaders. This news comes to us as a rude shock and appears like an eclipse that darkens the day. Dav. we mourn this sudden exit of yours and we commiserate with the government, the good people of Benue State, the immediate family members and the Benue State Council of the NUJ.
‘As a mark of honour for this painful passage, we implore all members of Transformation Agenda to suspend all underground campaigns across the nation in the next three days to mourn our beloved brother. Eternal rest grant him oh Lord. David Ukuma, too heavy to say good night!’, the statement reads
