GOVERNOR AMOSUN COMMISSIONS ULTRA MODERN LIVESTOCK STALLS IN OGUN

The Governor, who disclosed that the market would spur development, pledged his government’s continued support for the traders, with a promise to replicate such in other markets across the state.

“We’ve modernized and upgraded the market with water, toilets and stores for your comfort and that of your goats, rams and sheep” Amosun said.

He challenged the traders on proper maintenance of the market,adding that the shops would be subsidised for the traders, to allow them make profit.

The Governor added that, in continuation of his rebuilding mission, he would ensure improvement in all sectors of the State economy.

The General Manager, Ogun State Housing Corporation and Special Adviser on Housing, Mrs. Jumoke Akinwunmi speaking earlier enjoined traders to take full ownership of the project and inculcate maintenance culture to attract buyers.

The head of the “Egbe Eleran Iso”,  Rehanat Okunola, appreciated government’s gesture, promising that the traders would continue to support the State government in its efforts to move the State to the next level.
