Governor Abiodun’s special adviser, Tajudeen Egunjobi is dead
The Special Adviser to Governor Dapo Abiodun on Housing and a chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State Hon Tajudeen Egunjobi has been reported dead on Tuesday after a brief illness.
Penpushing reports that the death was confirmed on Wednesday by the Ogun State Government adding that he was a loyal member of the party, very humble and reliable team member, who was also very diligent in the discharge of his duties to the state.

Penpushing further reports that Abiodun described his late Special Adviser as a very humble and reliable team member adding that besides being an architect, he was a consummate politician and a former member of the Ogun State House of Assembly.
“He was a very humble, hardworking, conscientious, dependable, and reliable special adviser to this government. He was very loyal; besides being an architect, he was a consummate politician and a former member of the Ogun State House of Assembly’, Abiodun said.
“I appointed him Special Adviser on Housing because of the plans that we had and still have for the housing sector alongside the Commissioner for Housing, and I must say that Tajudeen was very diligent,” he added.
Penpushing also reports that Abiodun pointed out that the success story of his administration in the housing sector cannot be written without mentioning the huge contributions of the late special adviser.
The Governor stressed that Egunjobi lived a life of impact, noting that his administration would accord him the recognition he deserves in government so that his name will continue to be remembered for his service to humanity.
Penpushing reports that the Commissioner for Housing, Hon. Jagunmolu Jamiu Omoniyi, described the late Egunjobi as a dutiful and loyal politician who contributed to the success story of the housing sector of the state, stating that Abeokuta South Local Government and the state have lost an enigma.
Meanwhile, Noah Tajudeen, responding on behalf of the family thanked the Governor and the state government for the support given to the family, and equally wished the governor success in his endeavors.
