Football players carry guns as defence mechanism during tournament in Nigeria

The fear of terrorists attack has forced football team in one of the Northern part of Nigeria to start carrying guns for defence in soccer tournament in the bandits infested zone.
Penpushing reports that a trending video on social media showed the footballers in yellow Jersey, with green colour short, and also kitted with A.K 47 guns hung round their soldiers as they marched towards the football field ahead of a proposed football match.
The footballers in the video were heard speaking in pidgin english as they filed out to field of play  while sources said the team is based in Zamfara State, but this claim could not be ascertain as at the time of filing this report.
Penpushing further reports that it was also not clear which football tournament they were participating in, but another guy in the video walking side by side with the footballers was sighted to be in military trouser with long sleeve t-shirt, as well as gun hung on his neck.
