FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF AGRICULTURE TO UPGRADE CAMPUS RADIO TO WORLD CLASS STANDARD

The Vice-Chancellor, who told journalists that, the convocation is scheduled to hold November 21, emphasized that, ‘Funnab radio must be strengthen, the station is doing well. We cannot afford to let it die, we need it and we shall to the needful.

He commended the editorial and other staff of the radio station which commenced test transmission on March 26, 2018, and on June 21, same year granted full transmission by the National Broadcasting Corporation (NBC), which has at now become a household name, for professionalism effectively injected into the station.

The Vice-Chancellor also disclosed that, the management is considering of getting more hands to complements the few hands operating the station, explaining that, the need to employ more staff is glaring, but noted that, the approval must be from the Federal Government.

Penpushing further reports that, Salako while speaking on the convocation said the institution has produced 111  first Class Graduates in the 2016/2017 academic session, as well as produced 1,282 Second-Class Upper Division Graduates and as well  produced   1,456 Second Class Lower Division graduates.

The Vice Chancellor added further that,476  students graduated with third  Class  Upper Division degree in the session,explaining that the university  Post-Graduate School has also produced 79 PH.D, 241 Masters (Academic), 65 Masters (Professionals) and 33 Post-Graduate  Degree holders for the session
