EIGHT PASSENGERS CHEATS DEATH IN ABEOKUTA TOWNSHIP AUTO CRASH

 Penpushing gathered that, the truck with registration number Ogun: TTN 771XA was heading towards the Iyana mortuary area of the town, enroute Idi-Aba, with four students being assisted by the driver to be convey to their school on the same route.

The taxi cab was also conveying five occupants on the same route, but the truck driver said to be on a top speed, lost control and in a bid to regain control, the truck swerved to the side of the passengers carrying tax and pushed before pressing it on the parked beer carrying truck.

The passengers of the taxi and the driver were trapped inside the damaged vehicle, and later assisted by passerby to regain freedom from the wreckage. The victims, however, sustained minor injuries.

However, as at the time of filing this report, officials of the Ogun State Road Safety Corps, and police from the Motor Division, were seen at the scene, to evacuate the vehicles from the spot
