Ajay said, in furtherance to the above, the scheme will also aid the efforts of the government at all levels at reducing the unemployment rate in the country and thereby making more Nigerians becoming employers of labour.

‘The participants would be specifically exposed to both servicing, manufacturing and commercialization process of the toner cartridges, laptops, systems amongst other electrical electronic equipment which are not biodegradable until a thousand years’,Ajayi stated.

The College spokesman further explained that, the College was embarking on the training to complement the government’s efforts at preventing and managing resources and responsibilities for effective dealing with all humanitarian aspects of emergencies particularly in preparedness, response and recovery in order to lessen the impact of disasters in Nigeria.

He said, the training’s open registration which will commence next Monday, March 5 at the college ICT Centre will be taken in separate classes within the approved period of 3 to 5 days of the same week .

‘E-waste reutilization training participants are expected to attend the training with already used cartridge for practical sessions,’,Ajayi explained
