Decampees to All Progressives Congress are political wanderers, says Fayose

The former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose said all the new decampees to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) are ‘political wanderers’, stressing that Nigerians are not interested in recycled politicians.”

Penpushing reports that, Fayose stated this on Monday evening through his verified Twitter handle, stressing that Nigerians are more interested in their welfare and safety, rather than President Muhammed Buhari receiving politicians

“Nigerians are not interested in the president receiving political wanderers in the Villa. They are more interested in their well-being, especially security. They want to see a president who is proactive in handling affairs of the country, rather than receiving recycled politicians.

“Most importantly, Nigerians are not interested in how many politicians that decamp to APC to which is already a dead party. The president should rather make himself available to Nigerians who can help solve our unending financial and security challenges amongst others.

Penpushing further reports that, Fayose, a chieftain of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) accused Buhari of neglecting and leaving Nigerians to their fates, stressing that he has disappointed the nation

The controversial former Governor, a known critic of Buhari’s administration said the president should focus more on addressing the challenges rocking the nation rather than welcoming opposition party members to his party in Aso Rock, adding, “above all, I wish the president knows how disappointed Nigerians are about him and his failed promises.”

Meanwhile, it is recalled that, Buhari on Monday received two notable chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), Otunba Gbenga Daniel and Dimeji Bankole to All Progressives Congress(APC) as new entrants
