Coronavirus: Federal Government restricts entry into Nigeria from 13 Countries

The Nigerian Government, on Wednesday issued restriction entry into the country from different thirteen countries; China, Italy, Iran, South Korea, Spain, Japan, France, Germany, Norway, the United States of America, the United Kingdom, Netherlands and Switzerland over the coronavirus pandemic.
Penpushing reports that the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha made this known to journalists, explaining that, “these are all countries with over 1,000 case domestically’, and this decision was made after the Federal Government has also banned foreign travels for all public officials.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) via its Twitter handle, @NCDCgov stated that, “travelers from these affected countries prior to the restriction period will be in supervised self-isolation and be monitored by Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) and Port Health Services. The Federal Government of Nigeria has also suspended the issuance of visa on arrival to travellers from these countries”
