Coronavirus confirmed in 73 countries, as Penpushing provides list

Seventy-Three Countries across the globe are now battling with the cases of Coronavirus with more than 90,000 people infected, while the death toll globally has exceeded 3,000 as at Tuesday of filing this reports.

Penpushing reports, out of the number, five countries in Africa have reported cases of the disease, and currently, Iran happens to be the hot spot in the Middle East, while Italy seems to have contributed to the spread in Europe and in Nigeria.

The World Health Organisation  (WHO) official, Tedros Ghebreyesus, warned  that countries need to raise their level of surveillance and be alert, in order to control the outbreak, adding that  public health officials are operating in “uncharted territory” as they combat the spread of the novel coronavirus.

Penpushing provides  list of all the countries who as at 00:00 on Tuesday, reported at least a case since the outbreak broke out in December in Wuhan as follows:  Afghanistan (1 case),Algeria (2 cases),Andorra (1 case), Armenia (1 case),Australia (35 cases, 1 death), Austria (10 cases), Bahrain (49 cases), Belarus (1 case), Belgium (1 case),Brazil (2 cases),Cambodia (1 case),Canada (24 cases), Croatia (6 cases),Czech Republic (5 cases),Denmark (3 cases), Dominican Republic (1 case), Ecuador (7 cases), Egypt (2 cases), Estonia (1 case), Finland (3 cases), France (130 cases, 2 deaths), Georgia (1 case), Germany (158 cases), Greece (7 cases) and Hong Kong (100 cases, 2 deaths)

Penpushing further reports that others are: Iceland (3 case),India (6 cases), Indonesia (2 cases), Iran (1,501 cases, 66 deaths), Iraq (26 cases), Ireland (1 case), Israel (12 cases), Italy (2,036 cases, 52 deaths), Japan (974 cases, 12 deaths), Jordan (1 case), Kuwait (56 cases),Latvia (1 case),Lebanon (13 cases), Lithuania (1 case), Luxembourg (1 case),Macao (10 cases),Malaysia (25 cases),Mexico (5 cases), Monaco (1 case), Nepal (1 case),Netherlands (7 cases),New Zealand (1 case),Nigeria (1 case), North Macedonia (1 case) and  Norway (15 cases)
