Bride slaps drunken groom at wedding ceremony

There was a mild drama at a wedding ceremony in Uttar Pradesh Hamirpur, India as bride openly slapped the groom who was alleged to be drunk, and the bride walked away from the ceremony.

Penpushing reports that, the groom, Ravikanth was about to present a garland during the varamala ceremony when the irked bride angrily handed two slaps on him, to the amazement of the guests at the ceremony.

The source at the ceremony said the groom had arrived at the wedding venue drunk, which irked the bride, who could not control her emotion nor hold her anger, and descended on the man, before staging a walk out from the venue.

Penpushing further reports that, the source added that, after the ugly development, the families were said to made attempt to intervene, but as at the time of filing this report, it was not clear if the issues were resolved
