Biodun Alabi replaces Odumosu as Lagos state Commissioner of Police
The leadership of Nigeria Police Force has posted Abiodun Alabi to Lagos State Command as the new Commissioner, following promotion of the immediate past commissioner, Hakeem Odumosu to the rank of Assistant Inspector-General of Police
Penpushing reports that, Inspector-General of Police, Alkali Baba, gave the directive that Alabi should immediately take over from Odumosu, who on his part is to resume at the Force Headquarters in Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja
The Deputy Force Public Relations Officer (DFPRO), Olumuyiwa Adejobi, confirmed the directive, adding that Alabi was, until his redeployment, the Commissioner of Police, Bauchi State command.
Penpushing further reports that, Adejobi in addition to the deployment of Alabi to Lagos State Police Command disclosed that he is expected to resume at the Command, in Ikeja, on Monday.
Meanwhile, findings aalso revealed that, following posting of Alabi to Lagos State Command a signal from the office of the Inspector General of Police indicated that Haruna Garba was moved to Yobe and Tajudeen Abass to Benue Commands respectively.
