BARBER ARRESTED FOR STEALING ANDROID PHONE
The So-Safe Corps, an Ogun State owned security outfit has arrested a 24 year old barber, Olaogun Azeez for allegedly stealing Android phone at Olorunleke, Ado Odo town located in Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of the State.
Penpushing reports that, Director of Information and Public Relations of the Corps, Moruf Yusuf in a statement said, following information the So- Safe Corps officers in the Division swung into action leading to the arrest of the suspect.
The Director said the suspect who resides at number 24, Abiola Street, Ota, in the course of preliminary investigation was found to have pretended of buying Indomie Noodles and some items from the victim shop.
‘In the course of pointing at the items needed and the seller picking them one after the other, he sighted an Android phone belonging to the victim and took it and went away. It was after he left that it dawn on the victim that the last customer might be the one who took away the phone’, Yusuf said .
Penpushing further reports that while searching the suspect to get exhibit recovered from him documented, drugs like Marijuana , Codine and Tramadol were found on him, and confessed he uses them to enhance him.
Meanwhile, as at the time of filing this report, the agency spokesman said the suspect has been transferred to Ado -Odo Police Divisional Headquarters for further investigation and likely prosecution.
