Family of Olupojo gives daughter out in marriage

The family of Olupojo on Wednesday gave their daughter Abimbola Olupojo in marriage at a ceremony held at Martins Event Centre and Hotel Suites located at Otunba Jobifele street, Agidingbi in Ikeja area of Lagos State.

Penpushing reports that the colourful solemnization of holy matrimony which attracted number of dignitaries from within and outside Nigeria commenced with a traditional wedding involving fully participation of families of the couple.

The venue ceremony between the Olupojo(bride family) and Odulaja(hubby family) was designed with latest matrimonial artwork, and the photographs of the couple adorned the entire vicinity to add glamour to the events.

Penpushing further reports that during the traditional wedding local drummers were equally sighted to add live performance, while the known Alaga Iduros were not left out as they perfectly handled the ceremony.

The family of the hubby, Olorunfemi Odulaja presented list of the required marriage products, and in the same vein presented letter of proposal which was openly read, and in return the family of the bride joyfully accepted the letter.

Penpushing also reports that the traditional wedding which was the first phase of the ceremony lasted for about three hours, and was rounded up with prayers and thereafter the guests were entertained with first round of reception.

The second phase of the solemnization of holy matrimony was a church service conducted by Fountain of Hosanna Church of Christ from Ifako, Agege, Lagos State led by Pastor Damola Ojo accompanied by other clerics.

Penpushing reports that the order of service include praise and worship, processional hymn, opening prayer, Bible reading, exhortation, charge and declaration, marriage covenant, as well as joining and blessing.

The others are signing of the marriage register, thanksgiving, prayer for the couple, presentation of wedding certificate, closing prayer and benediction, as well as recessional hymn and capped with order of photographs.

Penpushing further reports that the officiating Minister in his sermon encouraged the couple to love themselves till eternity, emphasizing that the tonic of successful marriage is for the duo to have spirit of forgiveness

The cleric stated that the couple should always be in line with God in all what they are doing, stressing that doing that will make their marriage peaceful, and they should avoid temptation that can cause sins for them

Penpushing also reports that the marriage train later moved to the reception hall within same venue, where guests were treated to sumptuous meal and drinks, as well blaring of music to energized the families, couple and their guests who all dance to appreciate God

The couple at the third phase of the ceremony took time to take oath of marriage that would make their home a solid rock as they embark on life journey together, and in same vein cut the marriage cake, joined by their families and other well wishers

Penpushing reports that Chairman of the ceremony Pastor Niyi Beecroft of the Faith Tabernacle Winners Chapel, Ota, Ogun State tasked the couple to be Godly in their activities, which he said would pave way for successful marriage

The Chairman emphasized that the couple should be cautious of third-party negative role in their marriage, adding that as they start living together, they should concentrate on their wellbeing, and always be dedicated to their welfare and exhibit love all time.

Penpushing further reports that the couple in appreciation to the guests and well-wishers thanked them for making the beginning of their lives together, stressing that it was a memorable occasion for them, and prayed that God will bless their homes.
