Apostle Lawrence Achudume turns ‘broadcast journalist’ appears on Fresh FM Radio Station
The General Overseer of Victory Life Bible Church, Apostle Lawrence Achudume has transformed to ‘Broadcast Journalist”, appearing on his maiden edition of a programme tagged, ’Freshly Pressed”, which focused on newspapers review.
Penpushing reports that Achudume was on Monday the presenter of the newspapers review which was a special edition of the 6th anniversary of the Fresh FM, Radio station, Abeokuta, on the channel frequency 107.9.
The cleric presentation caught attention of millions of listeners of the radio station owned by an ace broadcaster and musician, Yinka Ayefele, as they glued to the station within and outside Nigeria to listen to known frankly speaking cleric.
Penpushing further reports that the programme lasted for one hour between 7am-8am, which also provided platform for listeners across the globe through a telephone contribution, with many of them praising Achudume for what they described as good presentation.
The clergyman did not stop at the reading the newspapers, he equally engaged an analyst in discussions which focused on news review from the newspapers, which include stories published by Penpushing Media
Penpushing also reports that Achudume throughout the duration of the programme was noticed exhibiting skills with his baritone voice behind the microphone to the amazement of the station staff and management, as well as millions of audience worldwide.
The one-week long 6th anniversary of the station had earlier commenced with a novelty football match between soccer team of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) and Fresh F.M soccer squad, and at end of the encounter the Ayefele boys thrashed the opponent with 1-0 win.
Penpushing reports that the second day was a road show by the staff and management of the station to sensitize general public on well packaged anniversary, which will attract a gift of branded vehicle for winner of the raffle ticket.
The third day, the staff converged alongside with colleagues from other media establishments for a light out to wine and dine together, which was a day designed for relaxation with each other after the stress of the media work.
Penpushing further reports that the grandfinale is scheduled to hold on Wednesday at the Sir Kensington Adebutu Hall located within premises of Abeokuta Sports Club, Oke-Ilewo, Abeokuta, where the station will host guests within and outside the town
