
Anti-Crimes Commission arrests 48 suspected internet fraudsters in Abeokuta
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has arrested 48 suspected internet fraudsters in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital, following surveillance and credible intelligence that linked them to fraudulent internet activities.
Penpushing reports that Head Media and Publicity if the commission, Dele Oyewale who confirmed this development added that the operatives of Ibadan Zonal Directorate arrested the suspects, also caught with rifles in their possession

The agency spokesperson stated that items recovered from the suspects include a pump action rifle, five high-end cars, a motorbike, several mobile phones, laptop computers and incriminating documents.

Penpushing further reports that Head Media and Publicity of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) added that the suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
