He added further that, at the end of the tally of votes, the All Progressives Congress(APC) Candidate scored a total of 255,505 votes while the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) Candidate scored a total of 255,023 votes.
Penpushing recalled that, Adeleke of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had led his All Progressives Congress (APC) rival with 353 votes at the end of the first round of poll last Saturday.
However, at the Thursday re-run, the table turned the other way, with the All Progressives Congress (APC) Candidate overtaking and defeating the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Candidate with a total margin of 482 votes.
Similarly, the All Progressives Congress (APC) led in the number of local governments won, winning a total of 16 local governments as against 11 won by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), while the Social Democratic Party (SDP) won two and the Action Democratic Party(ADP) won one.
Penpushing recalled that, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) scheduled the rerun after declaring the Saturday election inconclusive, arguing that the margin of votes was less than the number of cancelled votes in seven polling units.
