The All Progressives Congress(APC),Ogun State Chapter has lost it treasurer, Hon Adekunbi Banjoko who was reported to have died early hours of Monday, but cause of death was yet unknown as at the time of this report.
Penpushing reports that, Publicity Secretary of the Caretaker Committee of the ruling party, Ambassador Tunde Oladunjoye made this known in a statement explaining that the deceased who was also a member of the Ogun State Board of Public Health is survived by wives and children.
‘The Ogun State All Progressives Congress (APC) Caretaker Committee, announces with deep sorrow, the untimely death of one of our state officers, Hon. Adekunbi Banjoko, who was until his death, the party’s treasurer’, Oladunjoye wrote.
‘Hon. Adekunbi Banjoko who died at the early hours of today was also a member of the Ogun State Board of Public Health.A devoted Christian, seasoned politician, and former Secretary to Sagamu Local Government, Hon. Banjoko served as Treasurer of the party diligently, humbly and to the best of his ability’.
The statement added that, the late Banjoko will surely be missed by members in the State Working Committee of the party, adding that burial arrangement will be made public later by the family.
