All living former Ogun State Deputy Governors join Dapo Abiodun”s campaign for second term
The Ogun State Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun on Monday could not hide his excitement with all living former Deputy Governors in the state to have been part of his campaign for second term,as he move his campaign train across the nook and cranies of the state.
Penpushing reports that the former number two citizens include: Senator Gbenga Kaka, Alhaja Salimot Badru, Prince Segun Adesegun and Yetunde Onanuga, all of them doubles as chieftains of the ruling All Progressives Congress(APC).
The former Deputy Governors were aways seen in the convoy of the Governor in the ongoing political rally, to lend and rally support for him, which the latest was held on Monday at Odogbolu local government area of the state,with thousands of All Progressives Congress(APC) in attendance
Penpushing further reports that Abiodun at the rally pointed out that in the history of Ogun State, it is the first time all living former Deputy Governors will be in the same political camp and expressed excitement on that, with a call on electorate to collectively vote for all candidates of All Progressives Congress(APC).
“This is the first time, all living past Deputy Governors will be in the same political camp and party. As you will agree with me, this is great. As you can see all of them here. We are all happy as of the same political family. This is a good signal and good development. I want to encourage all eligible electorate to collect their PVC and vote for APC both at national, state and local government levels”, Abiodun
Penpushing also reports that at the rally, the former Deputy Governors vigorously campaigned for the return of the Governor for second term in office, expressing their confidence and optimism that the ruling All Progressives Congress(APC) will sweep the poll
