Alistair Soyode, Founder Ben television bags dual global recognition awards in London

The Founder of the famous Black and Ethnic Satellite Television in Europe, Ben Television with headquarters in London, Dr Alistair Soyode has added another feather to his cap as he bagged two prestigious awards

Penpushing reports that the awards came from Euroknowledge and the International Peace and Governance Council in London, following acknowledgement of Soyode as a distinguished figure in Africa’s landscape of pioneers and innovators.

The year 2023 witnessed separate ceremonies in central London, marking exceptional achievements in the honoree’s career, while at the Euroknowledge Leadership and Philanthropy Forum 2023 held at the United Kingdom’s House of Lords Soyode was acknowledged for his outstanding leadership qualities and significant contributions to the media landscape.

Penpushing further reports that his visionary leadership at BEN Television, the first black and ethnic media television, has played a pivotal role in fostering unity among diverse nationalities and was recently featured in a NETFLIX documentary on Afro-music.

The founder beyond his media influence, impact extends to redefining the narrative of African and Caribbean communities in the United Kingdom, Europe, and globally, while his initiatives supporting minority societies and media ventures, along with chairing influential groups like the Nigerian Diaspora Organization (NIDO), have amplified the voice and representation of diaspora communities.

Penpushing also reports that in addition to the Euroknowledge award, Soyode received another prestigious accolade from the International Peace and Governance Council, recognizing his dedication and vision in driving positive change and fostering unity across diverse communities.

The awardee while speaking on the development expressed gratitude for the recognition, adding that he was humbled, grateful to his family, his teams and partners for having opportunity to contribute towards African issues globally
