Ahead of inauguration: Tinubu, wife arrive Abuja after holiday in France
The Nigeria’s President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, accompanied by his wife Oluremi on Monday arrived Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory(FCT) and welcomed by large number of All Progressives Congress(APC), as well as other supporters.
Penpushing reports that the couple landed at the presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport from France and landed into the waiting hands of anxious party faithful, who were seen singing his praises.
The Vice President-Elect who was former Governor of Borno State, Kashim Shetima was also among the supporters and top members of the All Progressives Congress who received Tinubu, who is expected to be sworn-in on May 29, 2023
Penpushing reports that it is recalled that the President-Elect had on March 21 travelled out of the country to spend some time in Paris and London, a trip his media aide said was to enable his(Tinubu) to rest and plan his transition programme ahead of his inauguration on May 29.
