The Vice Chairman of the National Transportation Safety Board, Bruce Landsberg, on Thursday said that the Dodge 2500 pickup the unnamed teenager was driving collided with the vehicle conveying the golfers to their university campus in Hobbs, New Mexico after a tournament in Texas.

Penpushing further reports that, Landsberg explained that the accident occurred after the vehicle’s left front tire exploded forcing the truck to cross into the opposing lane, while it is on record that Texas law, doesn’t allowed a 13-year-old resident to drive unless under strict rules to prevent mishap.

The board’s spokesperson, Eric Weiss ,it was earlier learnt had said that fire engulfed the two vehicles after collision, while Landsberg declared it was clearly a high-speed collision.”
