11 vehicles burnt in petrol tanker explosion in Lagos

A petrol-laden tanker on Thursday night exploded at the Iganmu bridge in Lagos resulting in the burning of 11 vehicles which include: 2 tankers, 1 tipper truck, 3 trailers, 3 cars and 2 micro-mini buses known as ‘Korope’.

Penpushing reports that the Director of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service Adeseye Margaret confirmed this in a statement, however, added that as at the time of filing this report no life was lost to the incident

Penpushing further reports that Director of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service explained that no lives were lost and no injuries recorded as occupants escaped unhurt, adding that the cause of the explosion is however yet unknown.
