Late sage, Obafemi Awolowo’s eldest daughter is dead

The eldest child of the late sage, Chief Obafemi Awolowo, Rev Tola Oyediran-Awolowo has been reported dead on Friday, but as at the time of filing this report, the cause of death was yet to be known by the family

Penpushing reports that, Oyediran fondly called Mama Ibadan until her death was the Chairman Board of Directors of African Newspapers of Nigeria (ANN), Publishers of Tribune titles, and was said not go give any sign of ailment before death took her away.

The private residence of the deceased  in Ibadan, Oyo State Capital, as at the time of investigation showed sad mood, as number of symphatizers were seen moving in to ascertain the incident, while in the same vein, the top management staff of Tribune Newspapers hurriedly left office as the news spread to the office to the family residence.

Penpushing reports that, as at the time of filing this report, the family in conjuction with the management of the African Newspapers of Nigeria(ANN), Publishers of Tribune titles are making arrangement to issue a statement on the development
