Your Word – Your Day

And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. Matthew 17:20

The Christian life is a life of words. God through words created the heaven and the earth. Schools are built, made or exist to teach words and to learn words, from the Nursery to the University we are learning words; how to use words and through words learn about other things God created. But we learn and use God’s words not only to learn and know about things and situations but to be in charge of things and situations. In fact, God is the living Word.

When we use God’s word we speak His will. His word and will known and spoken early is irresistible. Any other word that comes after the word has been spoken, came too late. When the word said “let there be light”, there was light and there has been light ever since and darkness has never prevailed against it. When He said be fruitful and multiply… they have continued to be.

Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created.

He hath also stablished them for ever and ever: he hath made a decree which shall not pass. Psalms 148:5-6

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”   John 1:1

Open your day with words; and believe your words will come to pass.

That the word is God makes it the most powerful weapon of war and of creation on earth. This also accounts for why darkness could not resist the power of the word, and creation could not resist the creator.

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12

The word is the instrument of change. David said “I saw the word, I ate it”. The word is not only sharp; it is swift and acts quickly.

He sendeth forth his commandment upon earth: his word runneth very swiftly. Psalms 147:15

The word well sent acts accordingly.

He sendeth out his word, and melteth them: he causeth his wind to blow, and the waters flow. Psalms 147:18

Today, the expectation of the earth is upon the sons of God.

They are eagerly waiting for the word of their change. Only the just are authorised with such words.

For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. Romans 8:19

They are waiting for a change; they want to fulfil destiny and purpose which will only come through the sons of God. They are waiting to be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. The programme hidden blessings of the day are waiting to be delivered into your hand that is the liberty they are crying for, to be in the right place and with the right people.

Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. Romans 8:21

We are to rule the world by the decree of words just as God ruled by decree of words. We are to declare that which we want to see on daily basis. In Matthew 17:20, it didn’t say pray to the mountain but “ye shall say…” We are a speaking people, Halleluiah!

“thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.” Job 22:28

We decree by saying. The Bible says, let the weak say…not let them think…you will say to this mountain…not complain about the mountain. It is let there be light… not I wish there is light. Jesus said to Peter cast in your net for a draught… not you may catch fish if you put your net here or there… Elisha said… Lord open his eyes to see…; let fire come down and consume them.

Beloved of God, it’s time to speak what you want to see. We are not to live our lives at the mercy of the situation. The only time Jesus did not speak to a situation was at Gethsemane and when they came to arrest Him because it has been written.

Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?

But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be? Matthew 26:53-54

At other times, He spoke even the wind and the sea obeyed His voice of change, sickness bowed and death let Lazarus go free at His voice.

Whatever scripture has not spoken concerning you, you can change. The Bible and history bearers record that great changes and revolution that changed the world has come by a man standing to the challenge to speak words that moved men and situation for a change.

Several Scriptures abound of how God will raise a man just to speak to a nation, people or situation that His will be done.

And the LORD took me as I followed the flock, and the LORD said unto me, Go, prophesy unto my people Israel. Amos 7:15

The voice of Elisha turned the daily weeping of the men of the city of Jericho into dancing.

And the men of the city said unto Elisha, Behold, I pray thee, the situation of this city is pleasant, as my lord seeth: but the water is naught, and the ground barren.

And he said, Bring me a new cruse, and put salt therein. And they brought it to him.

And he went forth unto the spring of the waters, and cast the salt in there, and said, Thus saith the LORD, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or barren land .

So the waters were healed unto this day, according to the saying of Elisha which he spake.

2 Kings 2:19-22

Your word can do the same.
