YOUR N48 BILLION ASSET DECLARATION IS QUESTIONABLE, ALL PROGRESSIVES’ CONGRESS TELLS MAKINDE

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairman also noted that it will be too early to start assessing Makinde’s performance as Governor, since he has just spent few weeks in office, stating, “going by my experience and exposure, I think it is too early to assess a governor after few weeks in office. I would rather wait till after 100 days or even after six months, Oke said.

However, in swift response, the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Seyi Makinde, Taiwo Adisa said  the opposition party Chairman should cover his face in shame,arguing that what Makinde did was also required to have been done by those who served under Ajimobi (the immediate past Governor), but they did not do it.”.

“Somebody in APC should be ashamed of reacting on this matter. What Makinde did was also required to have been done by those who served under Ajimobi (the immediate past governor), but they did not do it”, he said

The Governor spokesman noted that All Progressives Congress(APC) does not need to keep playing the opposition in everything, adding that if the party had failed, and Makinde has been taking steps to put things the way they should be, it should not be politicised, adding  that the reaction of opposition party to the assets declared by Makinde “shows shamelessness on this matter.”

Penpushing recalled that Makinde publicly declares asset worth of N48 Billion, on Monday when he visited the Oyo State office of the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB) in Ibadan to receive a copy of the asset declaration form.
