Yewa Egbado College old students association marks 75th anniversary of college, targets N20billion endowment fund for upliftment of college
The old students of Yewa Egbado College, Ilaro, Ogun State have converged to mark the 75th anniversary creation, and N20billion endowment fund for the upliftment and development of the college.
Penpushing reports that the ceremony took place at the prestigious Eko hotel and Towers in Lagos, and had in attendance which include eminent personalities, chairmen and secretaries of various sets.
The other notable personalities include old students, Senator Iyabode Anisulowo, Alhaja Sinat Ojikutu, (former Lagos State Deputy Governor), Professor Rahman Bello (Former Vice Chancelor, University of Lagos), Captain Adewale Isola,as well as serving military officers among others
Penpushing further reports that the one-week event which started on February 4, 2026 with fund raising which recorded unprecedented substantial billions of naira realised for the development projects is scheduled to run till February 14, 2026
The ceremony which was the brainchild of the current executives led by the Global President, Architect Olaniyi Dasaolu, and was regarded as well occasioned, as attested to by number of guests
Penpushing also reports that Ogun State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof Abayomi Arigbadu in his speech emphasized the need for old students of various institutions to give back to their schools in area of adequate support
