WORLD BANK, OGUN GOVERNMENT FINALIZES PLANS ON $350M ECONOMIC TRANSFORMATION PROGRAMME

The Bank Team Leader further added that , the team has gotten final approval to proceed with the final design mission and that all the core areas for the programme had been confirmed, stating that the project has three core areas of implementation including, creation of enabling business environment, skill and human capital development, as well as Agricultural development.

Penpushing also reports that, he  further disclosed that the project had been on for almost two years now, assuring that the final approval on the release of the fund would be obtained by next month, saying the project would go a long way in effecting a robust economy and provide healthy living for the citizenry.

The Governor while reacting said, his administration would put necessary machinery in place to ensure that the State gets the needed support from the World Bank, revealing that the incoming administration already has readymade support to enhance good governance.

Penpushing further reports that, Amosun observed that the support would equally assist in creating a system – driven environment for business, while urging the team to fast track the process of final approval.
