Women should be spiritually sensitive towards old age challenges, says Achudume

The President of Royal Ladies International, an arm of Victory Life Bible Church (VLBC) Reverend (Mrs) Fola Achudume has advised women to be spiritually sensitive and be well informed about different challenges that come with old age.

Penpushing reports that Achudume gave the advice at the Eminent Personality Conference 2023 tagged ” Immeasurable Reward’, held in Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital,stressing need for them to also maintain healthy lifestyle, eating right as well as making themselves happy irrespective of the circumstances they find themselves.

“Leave pride and arrogance, depend on God for all.There are troubles synonymous with old age.Trouble does not come with invitation letter, it just show up,so don’t kill yourself to look for solutions, go awnd sleep. Be happy, make yourself happy, no matter what is happening to you’,she emphasized.

Penpushing further reports that the cleric noted that age,individual lifestyle, genetics and family burdens are some of the causes of problems facing the womenfolk,stating that the time has come for the women of all shapes and status  to unlock their full potentials, network and support one another for the betterment of the society.

“No matter what you have achieved in life,there is a better place for you.  People are sweating inside  air-conditioned cars. Show kindness. There is nothing that is done that is a waste especially for mothers who pass through different seasons of life.Trust in God with all your heart for  bountiful rewards. Good health is a reward, restoration, time and divine guidance are godly rewards”, Achudume added

The wife of General Overseer of the famous  Victory Life Bible Church (VLBC) pointed out  that unspoken cultural and personal forces can be major hindrances to women’s progression ,adding that women face multiple challenges in both private and public spaces.

Penpushing also reports that she emphasized on the importance of prayer and the need for divine directions in handling life issues noting that many women do not enjoy the reward of their labour especially at old age because  of  various  problems  such as ill health, family pressures, poverty, and reckless  lifestyle.
