Women Radio mourns Iyalode Alaba Lawson

The Management of St. Ives Communications, owners of Women Radio 91.7 have commiserated with the family of late Iyalode of Yorubaland, Alaba Lawson who passed peacefully on October 28,2023 at her private residence located in Quarry Road of Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital

Penpushing reports that the Chairman of the media organization Dr Babatunde Okewale in the condolence letter lamented the loss of Lawson who until her death was Non-Executive Director of the establishment, describing the deceased as a remarkable woman

“We are deeply saddened to hear about the passing of lyalode Alaba Lawson MFRFiOD JP, our non-executive director. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the family during this difficult time”, the management wrote

“lyalode was a remarkable woman who epitomised enterprise, brilliance, and ingenuity. her contributions to the upliftment of Nigeria women, particularly in the areas of business and women’s empowerment, will not be forgotten. lyalode was a benefactor to many who impacted on women and will be greatly missed’, the letter added.

Penpushing further reports that the management in the letter explained that their thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved family, and prayed for them to find comfort in the memories they shared with iyalode while still alive

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the family as you mourn the loss of your beloved mother and grandmother lyalode.We hope that you find comfort in the memories you shared with her and in the knowledge that she lived a fulfilled and colorful life. Once again accept our condolence”, the letter emphasized
