Women Entrepreneurs Professionals Development Network pays condolence visit to bereaved family of Iyalode Alaba Lawson

The Women Entrepreneurs and Professionals Development Network (WEPDN) have visited family of late Iyalode of Yorubaland and frontline Entrepreneurs, Iyalode Alaba Lawson to commiserate with the family.

Penpushing reports that the Network led by the President Mrs. Affi Israel Ibanga were received by the children and family members of the deceased at private residence located in Quarry Road in Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital.

The President of the Network who burst into tears while signing the condolence register in a letter later presented to the family of the late Iyalode said she (Lawson) was a rare gem, sweet mother, sister, friend and a mentor

Penpushing further reports that Ibanga admitted that the Women Entrepreneurs and Professionals Development Network (WEPDN) was blessed to have a shield in Lawson, especially to have given women a notable voice globally

‘We have been truly blessed to have had a shield, like you, there is no end to your unending heroism, especially the selfless commitment and challenges you overcame to give women a notable voice in Nigeria and globally, which is worthy of emulation’, the statement added.

‘An astute educationist, a detailed entrepreneur, a philanthropist with great responsibilities to help other women, and the girl child to live their fullest potential in life. Many fond memories of you bring us comfort, your smiles, dances, gestures, countless warm hugs, and motherly advice’, Ibanga wrote.

‘Our hearts are saddened by your loss and our thoughts and prayers are with your family and loved ones The Board of Trustees, Executives, and Members of Women Entrepreneurs, and Professionals Development Network (WEPDN), commiserates with the Lawson’s family and pray that her vibrant soul finds solace in the bosom of Jehovah God Almighty, and may God grant the family and loved ones the fortitude to bear the great loss.
