FORMER NIGERIAN PRESIDENT, SHEHU SHAGARI IS DEAD

The late for civilian President was removed from office via a military coup in December 1983, which brought in the then Major General Muhammadu Buhari as the Head of State. His demise was also confirmed by the Sokoto State Governor o Aminu Tambuwal.

Penpushing further reports that, Tambuwal in his twitter page wrote, ‘I regret to announce the death of former President Shehu Shagari who just passed away at National Hospital Abuja. May his Soul Rest in Peace’.
