Truck crushes two persons to death in Ogbomosho

A separate auto crash on Sunday claimed lives of two persons at Odo Oru area along Ogbomoso/Igbeti road in Ogbomosho town of Oyo State, involving an articulated vehicle as well as a motorcyclist and a passerby.
Penpushing reports that, the accident were linked to the negligence of the truck drivers who allegedly drove against traffic rules, in bid to avoid a bad portion of the road, killing a motorcyclists and passerby at different time.
The incidents according to eyewitness, Seun Adebiyi, said that the driver was going to link express via that route, took a wrong way to avoid several bad portions of the road before the incident occurred, adding that, “the motorcyclist died immediately while two other people who sustained injuries were in critical condition before taken to hospital.”.
Penpushing further reports that in a related development, another trailer killed one passerby around the same area, and as at the time of filing this report, security operatives, Oyo State fire service men and officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) had moved to the scene to prevent breakdown of law and order as well as to clear the road.
