TRADERS AT PDP CONVENTION SMILES TO BANK

 

The vendors were seen in joyful mood as they trade in products which include:food drinks , clothing, shoes and other items. Similarly,vehicular movement was restricted along the streets making it easier for the traders to set up their tents. Our correspondent further report that,the vicinity was fully occupied by the traders,just as they expressed optimism that the convention helped them make bumper sales.

 

A female food vendor,Aminat Yusuf who spoke with Penpushing recalled that,she started selling at the venue, a day prior to the convention day,adding that many of supporters slept inside their vehicles around the venue.

She affirmed competition among traders but admitted reasonable patronage in her stall,and also commended PDP for the opportunity provided for her to make some money.

 

‘This kind of event was an avenue for business opportunities.I thank God for today because, we are selling very well because of the large number people that are here’,she said.

The trader added “Even though we are many here market is still moving well. So I believe that we will make enough sales before the end of the convention’.

Also sharing his express, Sheu Idris‎ said that the event afford him opportunity to sell well,stating that the huge party supporters were the tonic for good sales.

 

Idris who trade in clothing materials and shoes pointed out that,number of party supporters need to change their clothes or shoes,hence,reason to patronise him.

He also noted that since Christmas was already approaching, a lot of the party supporters would like to shop for their loved ones,particularly those who came from other states‎ of the federation

‘You know that they are going to make money from here and we are here to get part of it by selling our goods to them’,he said.

Meanwhile,other items sold by the traders include, PDP caps, tags and hand bands among other souvenirs.
