Tinubu swaga women inaugurated in Ogun state

The women wing of South West Agenda for Asiwaju (SWAGA), a group established for success of Presidential Candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu was on Monday inaugurated in Ogun State.

Penpushing reports that, the membership which cut across all the twenty local government area of the state, stormed Abeokuta, the State Capital, to be part of the historical event, and were seen in Tinubu designed Ankara

The women in their hundreds could not hold back their excitement on the inauguration as they equally engaged in dancing, as the female musician popularly called ‘Iwalewa’, rendered thunderous songs in praising Tinubu to high heaven

Penpushing further reports that, National Chairman of the South West Agenda For Asiwaju (SWAGA), Senator Dayo Adeyeye, in is speech assured the women that if Tinubu is voted into power in 2023, they would be accorded their rightful positions in government.

The former Minister who expressed optimism about Tinubu’s victory pointed out that the former Lagos State Governor is a great asset for the country, who also holds women in high esteem, disclosing that he (Tinubu) had promised to include women at top level positions in his administration

“Asiwaju has said that Nigerian women under his incoming administration, by the Grace of God, will have the best of opportunities, the better life, more than what have ever had before in the history of this country. Women will be in forefront of his administration. He has promised it already and we trust and believe him. He is a man who has a greatest respect for women. We will soon reach the promise land. El dorado is coming for all the Nigerian women.”

Penpushing also reports that, the Convener of the group, Hon Oyetunji Ojo in his own remarks said  the newly inaugurated state executives have a responsibility to put in place the body of  women at council, ward and unit levels.

The former member of House of Representatives,, however,  charged the South West Agenda For Asiwaju (SWAGA), on need  to go to the nooks and crannies of the state and propagate Tinubu’s ambition.

Penpushing reports that, Ojo described Tinubu as the best Presidential Candidate among others  to be elected next year, assured that he(Tinubu) has  well structured  plans to positively transformed  the country

Meanwhile, some notable leaders of the group in attendance at the ceremony include the national Chairman of South West Agenda For Asiwaju (SWAGA), Women of Wing, Ayo Omidiran, as well as her male counterparts: Senator Gbenga Obadara, Rt Hon Suraj Adekunbi(former Speaker, Ogun State House of Assembly) and Ogbeni Lanre Banjo(former Governorship Candidate of National Conscience Party, Ogun State) among others
