MOTHER DIES, DAUGHTHER SERIOUSLY INJURED AS VEHICLE PLUNGES INTO RIVER

The Traffic and Enforcement Compliance Public Relations Officer, Babatunde Akinbiyi who confirmed the incident said, the woman  was taken her daughter back to school in Ijebu-Ode when the sad incident occurred

‘There were 2 occupants in the vehicle; the driver who is a woman and her daughter, who is a student of TASUED (Tai Solarin University of Education).The woman was taken her daughter back to school’, Akinbiyi said.

The agency spokesman said the woman, who was the driver lost control of the vehicle and plunged the vehicle into the river, a development which claimed her life, while her daughter narrowly surived ,but receiving treatment at General Hospital, Ijebu-Ode as at the time of filing this report

Penpushing further reports that, Akinbiyi added that, the accidented vehicle has been removed from the river and deposited at the Motor Traffic Division (MTD) Odogbolu, while the corpse also deposited at the morgue
