The inculcation of interfaith studies in Nigeria educational curriculum for religious tolerance

The killing of Deborah Yakubu at the Sheu Shagari College of Education, Sokoto State Nigeria on Thursday 12th May 2022 by some Islamist Extremist is a result of the depleting state of education in Nigeria most especially in Northern Nigeria.
You can’t claim to fight for God by killing your neighbor who spoke against the God you worship. The truth of the matter is that the lady (Deborah Yakubu) didn’t Blaspheme any God, Source reveals that she only told those religious bigot not to post any religious matter on the Class WhatsApp group chat then those ‘Animal in Human form’ according to Fela Anikulapo- Kuti flared up.
This unlawful act calls for State Of Emergency. The act is the product of uncivilized culture by the vast majority of Nigeria Northerners, there needs to be reorientation of the vast majority of Northerners in Nigeria.
The weight of the law needs to be felt in Nigeria as a Nation. The tenate and principles of the Nigeria Constitution needs to be uphold. It’s time we go back to justification of the masses.

There needs to be a roundtable discussion about this issue of killing for Blaspheming because the killing for blaspheming was propounded by some Islamist Extremist to deceive the illiterate (uneducated) among the Muslims.There needs to be a strong interfaith movement in Nigeria and other countries of the world where this Religious Extremism is taking place.
The God this so called people are defending by killing human being said in Hosea.4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
The power base of any Nation of the world is Education – Education is the bedrock of the society. There needs to be proper scrutiny of the curriculum of education in Nigeria schools. No longer should the doors of our schools be shut.
There needs to be tolerant. I am advising the Nigeria Government to inculcate Interfaith Studies in the Nigeria Education Curriculum right from primary education to Tertiary Education.
By doing this the truth will be revealed to everyone because the other religion can’t be telling each of their followers what is not the truth about the other religion.
For example any Christian cleric can’t be telling his Christian followers what is not true about Islam thereby creating enmity between Christians and Muslims including the traditional worshipers same goes to Muslims and Traditional Worshipers.
If interfaith Studies is imbibed in the Nigeria Educational Curriculum the Students will be exposed to the reality about the core religion in Nigeria and they will know the difference and the truth between each religion for tolerance.
