Terrorists kidnap dozens of school children in Kaduna state
Terrorists have abducted unspecified number of pupils and teachers during an attack on Thursday on a public primary school in Kuriga community after morning assembly in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Penpushing reports that a resident confirmed this while as at the time of filing this report the Kaduna State Government is yet to speak on the incident, and in same vein, Kaduna State Police Command was yet to make any official statement on the incident
The Commissioner, Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, could not be reach as well, same with the police spokesperson in the state, Mansir Hassan, as at time of filing this report on Thursday
Penpushing further reports that it is recalled that three weeks ago, a wanted kidnapper and ruthless killer, Isyaku Boderi, was killed by security forces in the same Chikun local government, while it was not immediately clear whether Thursday’s incident was connected to his killing.
The kidnapper allegedly led the March 11, 2021 abduction of 39 students of the Federal College of Forestry Mechanisation, and the August24, 2021 deadly attack on a campus of the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), both in Afaka, Igabi local government area of Kaduna State.
Penpushing also reports that Boderi was killed with some of his lieutenants in the Bada/Riyawa general area of Chikun and Igabi local government areas.
