TAMPAN, FEDERAL GOVERNMENT SECURE ADMISSION FOR AILING BABA SUWE AT LAGOS UNIVERSITY TEACHING HOSPITAL

This was the outcome of request by the association to the Federal Ministry of Health to support them in saving the life of the veteran actor who has been down awhile, over undisclosed ailment. The team took their ailing colleague to the hospital, and was placed on admission at a private ward of the hospital.

Penpushing reports that, the National President of the body, Otunba Bolaji Amusan affirmed that, the Minister of Health, Prof Isaac Adewole, had ordered that, the ailing thearter practitioner should be given the necessary medical attention on the bill of the Ministry.

He expressed satisfaction and appreciation on concern of the Minister, as well as the conduct of the Chief Medical Director and staffers of the Hospital, who he said gave, required attention to Baba Suwe, on arrival in the hospital, with a pledge to give him a first class medical attention.

The Theater Arts and Motions Pictures Producers Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), leader also thanked the Vice-President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo for the financial support, as well as appreciate support from an ace actor Muyiwa Adegoke(aka Londoner) for his efforts.

Penpushing further reports that, as at the time of filing this report, medical examinations had commenced on the patient by the hospital medical personnel, to get to the root of his sudden medical challenges.

‘We are really appreciative of the Hon Minister’s quickest response,and wish to equally say a big thank you to the Federal Government of Nigeria for giving the association a listening ear, and the kindest gesture of the Vice President of Nigeria Prof Yemi Osinbajo,  also to ace actor Muyiwa Adegoke (aka Londoner) for his efforts too’,Amusan emphasised.

Similarly, Amusan reaches out to those who signified their anger by curses and abusive words towards other actors to always exercise patience and restraints, no matter how hurt they feel about predicament of their loved celebrity.
